Entrecard just Sucks!
I am not posting this because my Entrecard account has been deleted. I post because I want to warn you before you suffer terrible loss of time and effort to useless Entrecard.
I’ve been a member of Entrecard for around 4 months and everything were fine. I dropped to every card I found in any blog that I visited and I even have a list of my entrecard dropping partners. I am not selling credits and I only used them in advertising Mseoblog.net to other related blogs.
I was never so active lately due to some other priorities and my credits still increasing due to some drops by my visitors though I am not spending those credits anymore with my advertising activities.
I was shocked when my username and password were not accepted by Entrecard site while I was trying to log-in. I thought I had the wrong password so I tried resetting it. My account was lost and the system did not recognized my email. What a disappointing day for me. I checked my email and didn’t see any warning or any reason why my account was deleted. Two days after I lost my account, the unreasonable and unfair admin of Entrecard sent me that email. (photo on the right).
What a shame. Take note of the reason.. LOL. The reason was “Quality Standards”. WTF! I think he have no idea how much time I am spending on doing research in order to build-up the lists for my posts to be beneficial to everyone and yet he is telling me that my blog has no quality?!
I don’t want to make this thing more longer for I have no intention to waste my time again by creating another Entrecard account.
If you are an Entrecard member or planning to join Entrecard, you must consider the following things.
- Admin is unprofessional, unreasonable, and unfair.
- Entrecard traffic is useless and just a waste of your bandwidth. No traffic from Entrecard will read your content. The reason why you are getting traffic through Entrecard is because people wanted to drop at your card to earn credit. Again, people visit your blog to drop and not to read.
- Entecard is just a simple traffic exchange with different approach. You are just exchanging traffic with your fellow bloggers and non of these traffic is useful and can give you a good adsense CPC and CTR.
- Entrecard just sucks! As soon as you earned credits and become inactive for just couple of days, admin will delete your account without prior warning.
Don’t waste your time and effort with Entrecard. There’s a lot of ways to earn real real and high quality traffic out there.

I sympathize with what happened to you. However, I will not agree if you say that EC is useless in general. Although I am also suffering from bounce rate, almost all of my consistent readers and regular commenters are from EC.
I strongly suggest that you contact them and ask them to be specific with the meaning of Quality Standards.
Entrecard may not be perfect but it is not really evil. Thanks.

Having regular commenters is good for a site but we are talking about quality traffic here… and quality traffic means “organic” that converts traffic into revenue…

I did remove them yesterday because it was just waste of time, space & everything

I had used EC for some time but had already realized that the traffic it send is not at all “targeted”!

I used to have a wonderful scrapbooking site filled with freebies and unique quality information and these corn holes shut my account because of “junk content”! I almost went raving mad. This new weneedmoney account is not considered junk?!
I made a legal and fast Entre Power Dropping page. You are welcomed to add your site.

It kind of feeling like Google banning people to the sandbox for reasons unknown to the author. That email doesn’t explain any method for you to get your account back or ways to better your blog to their standards, at least that would be a starting point for quality control. I don’t know why they would want to just delete their potential clients accounts without mentioning ways to improve. Imagine for a second they had stated their reasoning for banning you in an email before actually doing it, allowing you the chance to identify with their needs and continue an open dialogue. My guess is we wouldn’t see very many posts like this online. In my opinion that would go a long way for customer service as well as quality control.

Your this point is really appreciable “Entrecard traffic is useless and just a waste of your bandwidth. No traffic from Entrecard will read your content. The reason why you are getting traffic through Entrecard is because people wanted to drop at your card to earn credit. Again, people visit your blog to drop and not to read.”

I must agree with Raden

I agree - everywhere I look people are dumping Entrecard - just like they did with BlogRush not so long ago. The pattern here seems to be that “quick fix” blog traffic solutions simply don’t work - you need to think long term and be willing to put the effort in to stand out from the crowd.

I just started to use Entrecard a few days ago, so I haven’t been on long enough to develop an opinion yet, but I will keep this post in mind while I test it out further.

It’s not that bad. I don’t put effort in dropping cards, but my site tends to rank better now.
